EntryPoint

EntryPoint is a free Windows desktop utility that combines a news/stock ticker with eWallet functions and an MP3 player in a single 1 inch horizontal bar. Users can customize the headlines and stock ticker symbols reported to them; including setting up special stock alerts to track movement in specific companies. Clicking on a symbol or headline will, of course, open a browser with the full story or complete information. The eWallet function allows users to enter their personal billing information once, and then provide that information via drag-n-drop to merchant Web pages instead of having to re-key the information at every E-Commerce site.

EntryPoint is the combination of functions formerly found in PointCast and eWallet (from Launchpad Technologies). In addition to its ticker and eWallet functions, the utility adds Internet searching, common links, and an MP3 player as well. It is a free (advertising supported) product that can be downloaded from the EntryPoint Web site.
