Luminis Product Family

Campus Pipeline, Inc. has announced the general availability of the Campus Pipeline Luminis product family, marking an industry milestone in a collaborative venture among Campus Pipeline, leading academic institutions, and industry leaders. The Luminis product family represents a major advancement in portal, content management, enterprise integration, and Web-based services delivery designed to address the unique needs of higher education.

Academic institutions are working hard to meet the online service expectations of their very diverse constituents. They operate in a heterogeneous environment with multiple systems, applications, tools, and technologies that are often very complex and difficult to administer. The Luminis product family offers a comprehensive, standards-based infrastructure for unifying and managing these very complicated environments.

Preeminent institutions and technology leaders, including Sun Microsystems, Documentum Inc., and the Java in Administration Special Interest Group (JA-SIG), collaborated with Campus Pipeline to deliver the Luminis family of content management, platform, and advanced integration products. Ten innovative colleges and universities joined the Campus Pipeline Pillar Institutions co-development program to help guide the product direction and development: Appalachian State University, Drexel University, Lehigh University, Mississippi State University, Pepperdine University, Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, the University of Akron, University College Dublin, the University of Miami, and University of Notre Dame.
