.FIXantenna Engine is an open source 100% pure Java FIX engine. Offers modular architecture for flexible, configurable and scalable solutions, which easily integrate into enterprise environment and support different implementations of transport, message storage, transaction journal, encryption, and other modules. Engine modules and user applications can work together either as parts of one process or as distributed CORBA services.

Multi-threaded, multi-user .FIXantenna Engine acts as initiator and/or acceptor of connection, supports several FIX sessions simultaneously. Interaction between FIX Engine and user application is performed using FIXML-based API Java classes, which can be serialized to FIXML and sent over IIOP for high-performance distributed solutions and communication with user applications written in languages other than Java.
