Creative Science Systems (CSS) has released its newest SOA solution, BizZyme. CSS, along with Osaka Gas Information System Research Institute (OGIS-RI), are releasing this joint solution, which enables SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) turnkey solutions that allow users to create graphical designs of business process logic.
OGIS-RI contributed "XGrotto" (an enhanced registry for Web services that runs under the Tomcat/Apache platform) and CSS provided "NetZyme" (platform independent integration middleware that supports C/C++ connectivity, enables pervasive computing with mobile wireless Internet devices and can be used to design and manage any .NET application).
BizZyme is accompanied by a UML-style graphical design tool, which is built using Blue Canyon's Konesa development environment.
The SOA will be offered in the United States under the BizZyme name and in Japan under the XHalibut name. An evaluation copy of BizZyme will be available for download on the vendor's Web site.
