SENXWare SDS

The SENXWare SDS (Scent Design Studio) from Trisenx allows developers to create scent-enabled Web sites. In order to smell the programmed aromas of the site, visitors must equip their systems with the vendor's SENX machine, which delivers the selected aromas as the user interacts with the site. The SDS is available as a free download to developers from the Trisenx Web site, or as a bundled package with the SENX machine (not yet available as of this writing). Initial pricing for the bundled package is set at $219.

A company press release states that the SDS contains all the necessary components for scent-enabling any type of online communications, including E-Mails and Web sites. Included within the kit are tools for the generation of scents, an "E-'Roma" database of preconfigured aromas, and example code.
