HOBLink Secure

HOBLink Secure is a platform-independent solution that integrates "crypto-technology" to provide completely secure communication across TCP/IP networks. Using Secure Socket Layer version 3.0 (SSL3) encryption and transport layer security, HOBLink Secure offers fully secure, PC-to-host connectivity.

HOBLink Secure, implemented in Java and Windows 32-bit, offers an add-on system to various HOB products, as well as to a broad range of third-party solutions that support SSL3. HOBLink Secure employs the latest technology, featuring enhanced security features such as multiple encryption keys RC2 (40-bit), RC4 (128-bit), DES (56-bit) and 3DES (112-bit), Hash-Algorithms like MD5 and SHA-1 and also client identification. HOBLink Secure is designed to support any platform, and can be used in any environment, including Web-to-host, classic PC-host, midrange connectivity, UNIX connectivity and Windows Terminal Server solutions. HOBLink Secure is also available as an SDK (Software Developer Kit) for the integration in non-HOB applications.

HOBLink Secure features an easy-to-use, highly intuitive user interface, making it easy for users to securely access and manage business-critical information. In addition to 128-bit encryption, the system supports V42.bis data compression, enabling fast data transfer regardless of available bandwidth.
